Ayla's Quilt is Done!

I am so glad that I finally finished this quilt. Here is a few pictures for you to drool over. I used the embroidery designs for this quilt from Hatched in Africa. The link to see and purchase this set is http://www.hatchedinafrica.com/chstsunbonnets.html You can download the cat under the main pictures to try their design on your machine. They have some really beautiful designs, check it out while you are there. The quilt pattern is from Quilter's World. It had a frog where I put Sunbonnet Sue's. You could put any applique or embroidery you want and have a great quilt. I have a e-zine script and I love it. I can download them to my netbook and take them with me without having to drag a book-bag along. You can also pick out a pattern and print it out for use without messing up your magazine. They have extras on the web that you can't get from the news-stand version. You get 2 years of back issues at your fingertips also. It's a good deal for the money. You can check out the digital version of Quilter's World: August 2009 issue, page 46, "It isn't easy being green"for this pattern. I sub'd the SB Sue's for the frogs.

I've got more patchwork from this set of fabrics and have come up with a plan to sew them together. I was looking for something else and found more blocks so 2010 will have plenty for me do and share...But for now.........I must take a break and do some Christmas sewing. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season, remembering that we are celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus.
