Well, the big day has come and gone and the sock monkeys witnessed this extra ordinary event. The monkey bride even got a bouquet. Oh yeah, the boots were kicked off during the dancing so we took some photos. Mrs Sock Monkey had on red boots but I forgot to show them off. How silly of me.
Now----I can say that every thing Lucy had in her wedding was shockingly different for me. It was traditional in a way but she definitely put her own twist to it. She spent 9 months making orgami flowers as well as bringing on extra help from her friends, coworkers, and family. I must say it was quite an undertaking. But it was successful and looked super amazing. There were so many compliments on the flowers and how wonderful everything looked. I am proud of my super-creative daughter.
She had 30 tables set up like this one. The room looked amazing with the tea lights glowing in the dark. My photo of that (not shown) just didn't do it justice. It's one of those have to be there to enjoy things. Her dad cut ornamental pear tree limbs and prepared them for the flowers. He spent several days working on that.
He was a big help at the Sai getting the tables looking pretty. He is definitely a Super Dad.
Matt got right in there and worked as hard as anybody to get the place looking good. Matt even made some of the flower arrangements.
What a wonderful wedding it was! More to come........
